1. The Competition
This competition is run by Bide Hotels and Investments Ltd. It is a pre-launch giveaway for three boutique hotel properties located in Thurso, Ballater, and Montrose, Scotland. The competition is not affiliated with, sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Meta Platforms Inc.
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Employees of Bide Hotels and Investments Ltd, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with this competition are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter
Entrants must complete the registration form on this website with their name, phone number, email address, and property preference. Entry is free. No purchase is required. One entry per person per property. To enter more than one property, the form must be completed again for each.
Social actions such as following, tagging, or sharing are appreciated but are not required to complete your entry. Registration via the form is the only requirement for eligibility.
4. The Prize
Each property has its own separate draw with one winner per property. The prize for each draw consists of:
- Two nights' accommodation for two people at the chosen Bide property
- Dinner for two on the first night at a local restaurant partnered with Bide Hotels. Bide Hotels will make the reservation and cover the cost.
- Late checkout
- The winner may bring a dog at no additional charge
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. Dates are subject to availability. Travel to and from the property is not included.
5. The Draw
Each property has its own draw on its own opening day. Opening dates have not yet been announced and will be confirmed closer to opening in summer 2026. Winners will be notified by email and phone within a few hours of the draw. Winners will also be announced publicly on Bide Hotels social media channels.
6. The 50% Off Offer
Every registered entrant who does not win the draw will receive a 50% discount off Bide direct rates on bidehotels.com. This offer applies to direct bookings only. It is one use per person, one time only. Entrants may use their 50% off or their Bide Club member rate, whichever works out better. These two discounts do not stack. Subject to availability.
The 50% off offer expires 15 days after the chosen hotel's opening day. After that, the offer is gone. No extensions.
7. Bide Club Membership
By entering the competition, entrants are enrolled in Bide Club membership at no cost. Bide Club is free forever, with no subscription and no obligation. Members receive perks including member rates up to 30% off, £35 off their first direct booking, early check-in where available, late checkout where available, free room upgrades where available, no platform fees, pets staying free, free parking on direct bookings, and a VAT invoice on checkout. 8. Data and Privacy
By entering, you agree to receive updates from Bide Hotels about the competition and future updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws. We will not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
9. General
Bide Hotels and Investments Ltd reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend this competition at any time without notice. In the event of any dispute, the decision of Bide Hotels and Investments Ltd is final. This competition is governed by the laws of Scotland.
